Don't wast your money on this product. Recieved part on time but package was opened and not new as advertized. Ended up throwing it out and hard wired my head unit in with out this adapter kit.
Everything else in the harness works great. It was easy enough to wire myself. Metra gives great customer support via email. Great harness for my 2003 GMC pickup truck. Especially the ability to lower the volume on the door chime. The reverse signal may have something to do with the fact my truck does not have navigation as a factory option. It does not give reverse signal. The illumination wire never gave me 12 volts no matter what I tried.
I would suggest trying to find a different product. I bought this product 2 weeks ago and it arrived defected. The company wouldn't take it back since it was a car auto part and they don't take back car auto parts even if there defected.
